My Approach
Our emotional well-being is deeply shaped by the relationships and experiences that surround us. Therapy offers a space to better understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, disconnected, overwhelmed, or alone, and to begin creating new ways of relating with greater clarity, trust, and emotional safety.
My work is grounded in attachment-based and systemic therapy, which means I look at both individual experiences and the larger relationship patterns that influence them. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, I aim to help clients:
- Strengthen connection and emotional security
- Improve communication and understanding
- Navigate conflict with greater care and responsiveness
- Build resilience through life transitions and stress
- Repair trust and reconnect after periods of hurt or disconnection
About Me
I bring a warm, collaborative, and compassionate approach to therapy, grounded in curiosity, empathy, humility, and humor. I strive to create a safe, inclusive space where clients of all backgrounds and identities, including LGBTQ+ individuals and families, feel respected, supported, and understood.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked for many years as a pediatric audiologist specializing in childhood deafness. In that role, I supported families navigating complex medical decisions, uncertainty, and the long-term emotional impact of unexpected change.
That experience deeply shaped the way I understand relationships, resilience, and the ways life transitions affect entire family systems. I carry that perspective into my therapy work today, helping individuals, couples, and families move through challenges with greater connection, understanding, and emotional safety.
